Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s early death has reignited the discussion on nepotism, and many stars from the Bollywood industry have come forward to raise the issue on Twitter and Instagram.

It’s being said that Sushant Singh wasn’t given his due respect in Bollywood. And this causes the direct impact on the social media handles of some celebrities mostly on Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, and Kangana Ranaut, who have lost or gained millions of social media followers depending on the side they have chosen to be or speak.

Across Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, social media users have been unfollowing those who are being accused of fuelling nepotism in the Bollywood film industry. Between Monday and Tuesday evening, Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut saw a massive increase in Instagram followers (from around 2 million to 3.3 million and growing) while Karan Johar’s profile registered a quick drop (from around 11 million to 10.9 million and dropping, which was within half an hour on Tuesday afternoon).

The numbers of followers are changing dramatically even at the time reading this story since social media users are furious by the non-recognition of outsider talent in the Bollywood industry.
